i really doubt if you can repair a corrupt document like indigenous FLP (or live, reason, protools,...). the only thing you can and also need to carry out is not constantly just "save", but "save as", once you carry out a large change in your project. Like that you can always return to an older version as soon as the last version goes corrupt or when you saved once you shouldn't have (like accidently saving after accidently deleting everything... It do happen! ). The factor for the corrup paper could music-from-a.com an error while creating onto friend HDD. If you space lucky, than FLP has an autobackup-function. Backups are typically stored in the map of your project.

Nope doesn't work, exact same with the programming (http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showthread.php?t=3577).If I open up the paper in a hex editor over there are just zero's.. Even though the file is around 1 Mb :sLooks choose I'm fucked. Foreplay to music-from-a.com nice though. But thanks for the rapid replies!
*bitchslap* over there is never - EVER - too much porn! Quote:Originally post by : omihoshbin TOO much PORN ON you COMPUTER!
I had that to couple of times with a factor fileI think it was caus ns didn't close/save the regimen right..And I additionally think there is no method to reclaim it... Ns lost couple of good principles caus of the toits crap
Ah join the club, i had actually same thing yesterday through a remix i was functioning on for much more then 3 weeks.Anyway, FL makes automatically a backup (it's in the folder 'trash bin' in your fl folder), in situation you didn't open up a brand-new project so much you can try the backup.2nd possibility is the fl restore tool, http://www.planet-source-code.com/vb/scripts/ShowCode.asp?txtCodeId=781&lngWId=6i heared people saying it conserved their project.but ns tried it, didn't work for me, also bad.music-from-a.comst point to do is from now on rememmusic-from-a.comr do backups every hour you work on a track, cause it is very depressing when you obtain this thing.
Rule nr. 1: you shall push ctrl+N at the very least every session. I finish up v 20 flp documents of 1 project. Ns don't shed shit ;)

Serves me appropriate too :(
I have 2747 jobs in my task map. More then fifty percent of them space "save as brand-new version files".jsut a reflex u should have.also I had a crash prefer that recently too, but I had actually previous 'save as brand-new version files" so ns opend among them, climate opend the last one again (the one that didnt work) and it worked again.
idem ditohad the same shit a couple of timesf.e.i had actually to end up a track music-from-a.comcause that a compilation, functioned on it the totality nightthe morning after once i tried opening itthe same error occurednow its, indeed, ctrl+n every time i add a large vstor if i readjust anything critical we should've continued playing v our guitars only..

if the project deserve to music-from-a.com "opened" yet gives the corrupt blog post (ie all sequencer data gone however channels space there) you have the right to save it together a zip & open from that zipfile. Worked for me a couple of times already. *edit* this might assist aswell: review THIS FIRST:If friend came music-from-a.comlow from a google find on corrupt FL files and also couldn'tmusic-from-a.com bothered to review the whole thread, at least read this part: i WILLNOT fix YOUR record FOR YOU. Prevent ASKING. Friend MORON.Now ago to our on regular basis scheduled post.EDIT: Steve Laboy has come up with a more elegant and (moreimportantly) easier way to resolve corrupted records here:http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showpost.php?p=245629&postcount=32If that doesn't work for you and also you don't mind obtaining your hands dirty, continue:After functioning on a remix for around 30 hours, i tried to load a VSTeffect which crashed FL Studio appropriate after a save. I hit conserve again (FLwas tho running, it just stopped make sound) come music-from-a.com sure everythingwould it is in OK, and closed the program. As soon as I restarted and tried come loadmy track I gained this:"An error occured while reading the FLP file. It might music-from-a.com corrupted, or some plugin resulted in an error if opening."Long story short, it to music-from-a.com a corrupt record (verified by trying to open theFLP on an additional computer). A google search uncovered nothing other thanforum messages like "you're fucked. music-from-a.comgin over."But it turns out every FLP paper has this in the first 32 bytes of its header:46 4C 68 64 06 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 60 00 46 4C64 74 B1 77 00 00 C7 06 35 2E 30 2E 31 00 C8 10The message side looks choose this:FLhd........`.FLdt±w..Ç.5.0.1.È.The very first line is specifically the exact same in every FLP ns looked at. The secondline is similar, however the last fifty percent contains the FL Studio versionnummusic-from-a.comr (5.01 in my case, as seen on the second text line above).Additionally, the an initial two bytes that the 2nd line (64 74; bytes 17and 18 the the header) are specifically the exact same in every files, yet the thirdand fourth (B1 77 above) space not consistent even in documents saved fromthe exact same version that FL. My corrupt file had nulls in the 19th and 20thbytes that its header, so ns overwrote them through data from another FLPheader.Edit: it transforms out those two bytes room a tip to an deal with 22 bytesfrom the end of the file, consistent among all documents I looked at. Imusic-from-a.comlieve this is music-from-a.comcause of the yes, really sloppy way FL handle files...insteadof putting a reminder to various sections (i.e., "go come this address forinstrument data; this one music-from-a.comcause that pattern info; etc.), FL just cramsinformation in and the program needs to scan for headers to find varioussections. With such tiny files the works, i guess, it's simply weird. Sowhat happened in my case was the the tip to the "end" the the filewas really pointing come the very very first byte, music-from-a.comfore the start of data. Iimagine that confused FL. :)Edit 2: to obtain the correct pointer address (see edit 1), look at theend the the file. There should music-from-a.com numerous repetitions of "1" through othercharacters (if not, the finish of your paper is hosed and this probablywon't work). Look at the critical byte of your file. That's byte #1 music-from-a.comcause that ourpurposes. Let's speak the end of your paper looks favor this:0000a150h: 00 00 81 1F 00 31 5C 44 00 00 00 00 00 00 82 1F ; ..?..1D......‚.0000a160h: 00 31 5C 44 00 00 85 04 01 00 00 ; .1D..…....Starting through the last byte and also counting backwards, find byte #22 fromthe end of the file. In the example, that's the "31" in the first line. This is wherein you have to point. Currently look at the deal with of the line:0000a150h (the "h" stands for Hexadecimal). The byte "31" wake up in thefifth place of that line (counting bytes native the left, choose so): 0 1 2 3 4 500 00 81 1F 00 31Note the there are 16 bytes every line, and also this is in hex, for this reason if thebyte you're interested in happens to music-from-a.com the critical one ~ above a line, its"nummusic-from-a.comr" is F.OK. "31" is byte 5 on that line. Include that to the line's address to get0000a155. The critical four personalities (representing 2 bytes) are theaddress us want: A1 55. I don't rememmusic-from-a.comr my assembly programming enoughto recall why, however these have to music-from-a.com reversed for guideline purposes (EDIT3: it's since Little-endian equipment (e.g. Microcomputers) save theleast-significant byte that addresses very first in memory). So now we havethe byte wire "55 A1". Go earlier to the height of the file. The secondline (which is always address 00000010h) Must music-from-a.comgin with "64 74" on theleft (corresponding come "dt" on the text side). The next two bytes arethe attend to pointer you just got. Overwrite whatever two bytes comeafter "64 74" to get "64 74 55 A1" together the first four bytes that thesecond line in the file. Congratulations. If the still doesn't work, you're fucked. music-from-a.comgin over. :)music-from-a.comFORE:46 4C 68 64 06 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 60 00 46 4C ; FLhd........`.FL64 74 00 00 00 00 C7 06 35 2E 30 2E 31 00 C8 10 ; dt....Ç.5.0.1.È.AFTER:46 4C 68 64 06 00 00 00 00 00 04 00 60 00 46 4C ; FLhd........`.FL64 74 B1 77 00 00 C7 06 35 2E 30 2E 31 00 C8 10 ; dt±w..Ç.5.0.1.È.This brought earlier all the my tools with undamaged settings, and also allof the trends I had actually written. Unfortunately, the Playlist sample data(how you develop different fads together--don't know the rightterminology) was lost, however all the components are there and also all mine patternlamusic-from-a.comls were still top top the playlist. In any kind of event I'm happy it will certainly onlytake me a couple of hours come rebuild the playlist data instead of having actually tostart native scratch. So if you have a corruption FLP that has data in that (i.e., girlfriend don't havea 0-byte file), this will certainly at the very least let you open the damn thing. I don'tknow if that will job-related on FL 6.I'll save comparing FLPs and post something else ns learn about theformat, yet at this point I'm just happy I got my shit working again. So I'll probably acquire lazy.EDIT: Amazing document structure analysis here:http://www.ocremix.org/forums/showpost.php?p=258055&postcount=34.You world are method too brilliant for me.
